Frank Robinson homered twice, driving in 5 runs, 4 of them in a 9-run, 13-batter 4th as the Reds battered the Cubs at Crosley Field. Bob Purkey pitched 8 strong innings for the win.

Milwaukee 7, St. Louis 5
Del Crandall went 3-3 with 3 RBI's as the Braves rallied for 4 runs in the 6th to beat St. Louis. Julian Javier provided a defensive gem in the 1st as he turned a triple play off the bat of Joe Adcock.
Milwaukee 2-0 St. Louis 0-2

Pittsburgh(2-0) at San Francisco(0-2)
Philadelphia(1-1) at Los Angeles(1-1)
